You can create a price tier to give yourself the ability to set different pricing on your normal products for other customers or for an entire brokerage. It could be a loyalty discount or because they provide you a lot of business. Whatever the case may be, you can set different pricing for a specific client or an entire group.
How to create a price tier
Click the steps below for a detailed walk-through:
Step 1: Click the Business tab
Step 2: Click the Shopping Cart tab
Step 3: Click "Create a New Price Tier"
Step 4: Add a Tier Name and any notes
Step 5: Click "Save Updates"
Step 6: Click on an existing product
Step 7: Click the Price Tiers tab
Step 8: Enter new price in Price to Charge column
Step 9: Adjust team member pay, if needed
Step 10: Click "Save Updates"
Step 11: For individual clients, go to Client Summary page
Step 12: Select price tier in drop-down menu
Step 13: For Groups, go to Group Details page
Step 14: Select price tier in drop-down menu
Step 15: Click "Save Updates"
Step 16: Client will now see special pricing when logged in
Step-by-step:
Step 1: Click the Business tab at the top of the page.
Step 2: Click the Shopping Cart tab on the left-hand side.
Step 3: Scroll down to the Pricing Tiers section and click "Create a New Price Tier".
Step 4: Add a Tier Name and any notes. You can also choose whether you want to show the price difference on the order and invoice for the client to see.
Step 5: Click "Save Updates" to create your price tier.
Step 6: Click on an existing product that you would like to offer a price difference on.
Step 7: Click the Price Tiers tab on the left.
Step 8: In the Price to Charge column, enter in a new price for the price tier that you created. Note: if you would like to offer this product exclusively to a single client or group, click here for steps on how to accomplish that!
Step 9: If needed, you can also adjust the payout to your photographers for this price tier. Note: If the amount charged to the client is less than what your photographer typically receives, the payout box will turn red. You can leave this as-is and still pay your photographer the amount they normally receive for this product.
Step 10: Click "Save Updates".
Step 11: If you are offering this Price Tier to a specific client, go to their Client Summary page.
Step 12: In the Price Tier drop-down menu, select the price tier you created. These changes are saved automatically.
Step 13: If you are offering this Price Tier to an entire Group (brokerage), go to the Group Details page.
Step 14: In the Group Configuration section, click the Pricing Tier drop-down menu and select the desired price tier.
Step 15: Click "Save Updates".
Step 16: Clients within that Group or your individual client will now see that special pricing when placing an order. Note: clients will need to be logged in to see the Price Tier pricing set for their account. You may want to consider requiring clients to log in to place an order.
